Belleville

Old Bedford Village - 2002

This juried event circa 1764, pushed the F&I as well as RevWar reenactors. All were encouraged to attend. The idea was for a village atmosphere to be established that allowed all to be in "persona." Although skirmishes did occur between sauvages and settlers, this was not a military event. One war had just ended and the next war was not yet on the horizon. It was time to begin settling down and building lives, schools, churches, businesses, a new life on the burgeoning frontier. We choose a persona, developed a scenario and "lived" in BELLEVILLE.
